This is a supplement to the full Hotel PM user guide; which outlines the steps to create a new equipment category, standard maintenance tasks and equipment in that category. These instructions apply to Hotel PM version 2.0.0 and later. For earlier versions refer to the USer Guide for that version.
While the Hotel PM program comes with a predefined set of Equipment Categories and the maintenance tasks for those categories; the program allows you to define additional Categories and Subcategories when needed. Below are the steps to accomplish these. We have tried to include screen images whenever possible to help guide you through the process.
